Woking Food and Drink Festival

The multi award-winning Woking Food and Drink Festival is back for the seventh consecutive year, starting Friday 30 August to Sunday 1 September 2019.

Spread across Woking town centre’s main pedestrian areas, the free to attend festival has all the ingredients to serve up three days of delicious feasting, fun entertainment and interactive activities for all the family.

  • Sabrina Ghayour, supper club host, TV presenter and author
  • Martha Collinson, GBBO quarter finalist and food writer
  • Laurence Henry, MasterChef: The Professionals 2018 winner
  • Chris Bavin, co-presenter of BBC's Eat Well for Less
  • Steve Drake, chef patron of Sorrel restaurant*
  • Tony Parkin, head chef of The Tudor Room* at Great Fosters Hotel (* 1 Michelin star)

Taking centre stage in Jubilee Square, the purpose-built Woking Shopping Demo Theatre, supported by international culinary innovator Magimix, is home to 20 live cookery demonstrations, featuring talented and highly regarded celebrity and local chefs.

Visiting

The heart of the Woking Food and Drink Festival is held in Woking Town Centre, adjacent to Woking Shopping centres.

This festival features over 80 stalls and spread across the town centre incorporating Jubilee Square, Commercial Way, Mercia Walk, Market Walk, Gloucester Walk and Gloucester Square.

Woking Food and Drink Festival has experienced phenomenal growth year on year since it was founded in 2013. Its headline statistics include:

  • Voted ‘Best Local Food Event’ in Surrey 2015, 2016 and 2017 by the readers of Surrey Life magazine, winner of the judges' choice award 'Surrey Food and Drink Hero 2018'.
